I am very much privileged and also pleased to present the Website of Berhampur Telecom District, one of the 13 Telecom Districts of Orissa Telecom Circle, to the Internet users through out the Globe. I am indeed very happy to welcome you all with ' NAMASKAR' to surf through our Telecom Networks. The Website has been designed to provide you information about ourselves and our Telecom district.

Berhampur Telecom District is the third largest Telecom District in Orissa Telecom Circle serving Ganjam and Gajapati Revenue Districts of the State. This District covers a geographical area of about 11,090 Sq. KMs with 121 Digital Electronic Exchanges interlinked with fiber Cable (1235.6 Route KMs). Through VPTs we extended our services to 4265 remote villages. The Ganjam District and Gajapati Districts were equipped with communication to Different Banks and Financial institutions with BSNL leased Lines. All the Government like Tehsil Offices, Registrar offices, Trasuries , Community health centers , Block offices and District Headquarters District Collectors are provided with BSNL leased lines and Broad Bands. All the educational institutions including remote schools are provided with BSNL Broad Band connections.

The Ganjam and Gajapati districts are almost fully covered with mobile connectivity where 2G,3G and Mobile Data connections are available. We have fully computerized integrated CDR commercial & billing package through Wide Area Network from Bhubaneswar for effective customer dealing along with integrated IVRS systems for complaints booking, Bill enquiry and reminder service etc. At present we serve our esteemed customers with the Seven Customer Service Centers at Berhampur (2nos), Chatrapur, Aska, Paralakhemundi, Digapahandi & Bhanjanagar, with facility like New Line Registration, Broadband Service, Bill Payment, Duplicate Bills, Enquiry, Recharge Coupon for Mobile, Application for New lines, Transfer, Shift etc. There is a Plan to customize new look customer service centers with single window concept at Berhampur and other SDCAs soon. To promote our services vigorously 9 nos of franchisees, 27nos RDs & 33nos of DSAs have been appointed throughout the SSA.
