Wishing you a very very happy Rajo Festival.

 I take the privilege of dedicating the website of BSNL, Koraput Telecom District to you with a hope that you will be able to get helpful information pertaining to our organization from this website. Though every care has been taken to provide correct information, still there may be some inadvertent errors, which may be brought our notice for correction, if found.

BSNL, being a Central Public Sector organization, is always take care for the interest of the general public, tries to give best possible telecom services at the best competitive price. It has taken the best possible effort to provide telecom services in every nook and corner of the country. With skilled and dedicated work force, BSNL is not only expanding its network, but also giving quality state-of-the-art telecom services.

The broadband speed of BSNL is un-matching with that of any other service providers in the country. BSNL provides its Broadband services in the same copper pair used for landline telephone service, which indicate that old copper pairs are still capable of giving better quality services.

With the introduction of mobile services, there is fall in the demand for landline service. But it is worth mentioning here the advantage of a landline connection:

1. The speech quality is un-matching with that of any wireless voice service.

2. The ease of using a landline phone, especially for the old generation and for the uneducated mass.

3. The landline bill can be used as a proof of address (POA) by different government and non-government agencies.

4. The Broadband Service over a landline connection is still the best quality data service.

In an effort to increase the landline base of BSNL and to provide this service for the general public, BSNL has introduced new “Night Free Call” scheme w.e.f. 1^st May, 2015 for its landline and broadband subscribers. In this scheme, the current and new landline and broadband subscribers can make free call to any network (landline and broadband) of BSNL and any other operator from 9:00 PM in the evening to 7:00 AM in the morning. This enables these subscribers to talk to their nears and dears freely for a longer duration in their free late evening time.

BSNL has achieved another landmark in providing “Free Nation wide Roaming” facility to all its prepaid and postpaid subscriber w.e.f. 15^th, June 2015. This has made BSNL to become the only operator to provide this facility to its subscribers. With the introduction of this facility, the frequently traveling subscribers will not be keeping multiple SIMs and will not also purchase roaming vouchers (STV).

BSNL had always protected the interest of its subscribers as is doing now, and will continue to do so in future also.
